Debra Gilmour
For the past 15 years, Debra has dedicated herself to advocating health and public safety policies related to alcohol and drug abuse and addiction, as a national spokesperson, lobbyist, and policy advisor. Some of her achievements include being honored as a program recipient of the National Association of Governors’ Highway Safety Representatives Certificate of Commendation, being awarded the DUII Multi-Disciplinary Training Task Force Outstanding Service Award, and has been appointed to numerous Boards and policy committees for her expertise and dedication to solution driven strategies related to alcohol and drug abuse and addiction. Presently, she serves as the executive director for the Oregon Prevention, Education, and Recovery Association, is a liaison to the Governor’s Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Programs, a registered legislative lobbyist, and is the Member Services Committee Chair, and a director for the national non-profit, State Associations of Addiction Services (SAAS). The newly crowned Mrs. Scotland International says, “I look forward to advancing support for a universal alcohol and drug prevention, treatment, and recovery system focused toward reuniting families, protecting our communities, and preparing our children-our future leaders, for a lifetime free from alcohol and drug abuse and addiction.” Debra and her husband Campbell, are the parents of three daughters, and own “a wee bit” of
