My guilty pleasure begins very innocently as I browse through Pintrest. It escalates to making a few quick stops at Goodwill, the Hosparice Restore and Habitat for Humanity Restore to complete the numerous, creative projects that sparked my imagination! The result – A three car garage that is unusable due to all the “supplies” I HAD to have for my future projects!
I trademarked the name “pinkcinnamon” over seven years ago for my Kentucky Derby Hats/Fascinators that I create each year for all the Kentucky Derby ladies and gents. My daughter, at the time, was three years old and helped me formulate the name “pinkcinnamon”. Pink is her favorite color and cinnamon is a common spice we cook with!
My favorite color is green. I’m not exactly sure if it’s because I’m half Irish and can find a four leaf clover wherever I go or if it’s because green is a very calming color and coordinates perfect with my green eyes! I think it’s a little bit of both!
My absolute favorite outdoor activity is spending time with my husband and two kiddo’s fishing from our paddle boat in our pond stocked with bass, bluegill and crappie. My mother always took me fishing as a little girl and I’m blessed beyond belief to teach and share fishing with my own children. It doesn’t hurt that they love it too!
